Duckworth, Harold Leroy
Harold Leroy Duckworth, 62, a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 15, 1949, to Ceil and Loretta Smith Duckworth.
Harold was a graduate of Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University. He went into insurance sales, eventually becoming an independent agent.
Harold married his long time companion, Vicki Clowers, April 28, 2004.
Survivors include his wife; three sisters-in-law, Lorene Burford, Marcia Jones and Cindy Tolbert; a niece, Linda Beard; four nephews, Pat Burford, Jeff Jones, Jason and Mark Tolbert; and his loving German shepherd, Blackie.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Patrick Burford.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the donor's charity of choice.
