Edwards, Paul L.
WILMINGTON, Ohio -- Paul L. Edwards, 78, of Wilmington passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born March 22, 1935 in Marquand, Mo., son of Walter Leonard and Zettie Isadora Starkey Edwards. He and Linda L. Edwards of Wilmington were married May 11, 1957.
Paul was a member of Wilmington Church of Christ.
Surviving is his wife, Linda L. Edwards of Wilmington; a daughter, Kim (Greg) Lyon of Mason, Ohio; a son, David (Stacia) Edwards of Columbus; a sister, Grace Smith of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Edwards; and two sisters, Pearl Yount and Ruth Underwood.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. July 13 at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brighter Transitions Fund, c/o Wilmington Church of Christ, 909 W. Locust St., Wilmington, OH 45177.

Edwards of Wilmington, OH, whom he married May 11, 1957, daughter, Kim (Greg) Lyon, Mason, son, David (Stacia) Edwards, Columbus, sister, Grace Smith of Cape Girardeau, MO, six grandchildren, Jeff (Jessica) Lyon, Shannon (Matt) Krusling, Shaun (Kelly) Lyon, Rachel Edwards, Emily Edwards, and Sarah Edwards, five great-grandchildren, Caiden Lyon, Colsen Lyon, Halle Krusling, Knox Krusling, and Jaxon Lyon.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Edwards, two sisters, Pearl Yount and Ruth Underwood.
Memorial services will be held at Wilmington Church of Christ, Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dale McCamish officiating.
Friends will be received at the church on Friday, 9 - 11 am .
