KELSO, Mo. -- Aline Marie Eifert, 84, of Kelso died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 12, 1923, at Swinton, Mo., daughter of Grover and Verdie Kinder Bollinger. She and Lester McNeely were married in September 1945. He died in November 1955. She and Alvin Anthony Francis "Buddy" Eifert were married Aug. 30, 1958, in Cape Girardeau. He died April 16, 1986.

Eifert was a charge clerk 22 years at Saint Francis Medical Center, retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, VFW Auxiliary 6407 in Scott City, DAV Auxiliary in Cape Girardeau, and had been a volunteer at Saint Francis.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth McNeely of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Jackie Dannenmueller of Scott City; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 7.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
