Elder, Travis J.
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Travis J. Elder, 43, of Perryville died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at his home.
He was born Aug. 21, 1970, at Perryville, son of Roger and Judy Vessells Elder Sr.
Travis was owner/operator of Elder's Tree Service. He was of the Catholic belief and a VFW booster.
Survivors include his father, Roger (Betty Brewer) Elder Sr.; two brothers, Roger (Susie) Elder Jr. and Wade (Amy) Elder, all of Perryville; two sisters, Robin Smith of Columbia, Missouri, and Penny (Ryan) Kennedy of St. Louis; two children of the home, Amber and Isaac Elder, and two other sons, Landon Torres and Michael Marr of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim French officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Travis Elder Trust.
