Funeral service will be held Friday, March 7, 2003 for 67-year-old Lloyd A. Emmendorfer of Perryville who died Tuesday, March 4 at his residence.
He was born on Aug. 2, 1935 in Perryville, the son of the late Vincent and Elvira Hoffman Emmendorfer.
He was married to M. Jean Cotner on March 1, 1954. She survives in Perryville.
Five children survive, Tom Emmendorfer of Cape Girardeau; and Mike Emmendorfer, Cindy Kirn, Karen Sides and Sue Robinson, all of Perryville.
Two brothers and one sister survive, Chalmer E. Emmendorfer of East Moline, Ill; Weldon Emmendorfer of Akron, Ohio; and merle Wibbenmeyer of Perryville.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Emmendorfer owned and operated Lloyd’s auto Body in Perryville for 30 years. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and also loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 6 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish wake will be Thursday evening. Visitation will also be from 6:30-11:20 a.m. Friday, March 7.
Funeral Mass for Lloyd A. Emmendorfer will be held Friday, march 7, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the donor’s choice or to Masses.
