Ernst, Cleora T. (nee Sutterer)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Cleora T. Ernst, 97, of Perryville died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The wake will be at 7 p.m. today.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, Mo. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

A funeral will be held Monday, August 5, 2013 for 97-year-old Cleora T. Ernst of Perryville, who died August 1, 2013 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born August 9, 1915 in Perryville, the daughter of Leonidas and Josephine (Hoffman) Sutterer who both preceded him in death.
She married Flavian B. Ernst on January 19, 1936. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2002.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter: Denis (Barbara Clifton) Ernst, Cynthia (Larry) Stearns, Michael (Karen Mattingly) Ernst and Robert Ernst all of Perryville and a daughter in law: Barbara (Buerck) Ernst of Perryville, 15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Richard Ernst and two sisters: Pearl Modde and Beulah Bauwens.
She was a home maker. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, 4H Leader, Ladies Sodality, Quilting Club and former Knights of Columbus auxiliary member.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013 and 6:30-9:15 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Young & Sons Chapel with a Catholic wake at 7 p.m. Sunday.
A funeral mass for 97-year-old Cleora T. Ernst of Perryville will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred for Southeast Hospice, Masses or Our Lady of Victory.
