Ernst, Cornelia O. (nee Bohnert)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Cornelia O. Ernst, 84, of Perryville died Thursday, July 16, 2009, in Perryville.
She was born Feb. 20, 1925, at Longtown, Mo., daughter of August and Mary Unterreiner Bohnert. She married Robert M. Ernst on Sept. 2, 1946. He preceded her in death.
Ernst was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church at Biehle and the St. Ann Society. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm 43 years.
Survivors include three sons, Randy (Linda) Ernst of St. Louis, Karlie (Judy) Ernst, Bill (Vicki) Ernst of Perryville; four daughters, Pat (Denny) Winkler, Kathy (John) Doernhoefer, Ivyline (Gary) Luttrell and Bonnie Berkbigler, all of Perryville; 24 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Bob Ernst; four brothers; and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Sunday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. The Rev. Tony Dattilo will officiate. Burial will be in St. Maurus Cemetery at Biehle.
Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
