David Lee Fadler, 53, of Centralia died Thursday, Sept. 19, 1996, at Boone Hospital Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at Meador and Son Funeral Home in Centralia. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia. Visitation was Saturday, Sept. 21.

Mr. Fadler was born Dec. 23, 1942, in Hallsville to Stanley Fadler and Winnie Lee Fillyaw Fadler.

He attended Centralia High School.

Mr. Fadler was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Centralia and worked for a number of years at A.B. Chance Co. He later worked for K&K Wood Products in Centralia, then as a custodian at Centralia High School.

Survivors include his mother, of Centralia; a son, Troy Fadler of Centralia; a daughter, Cherri Meador of Centralia; a brother, Stanley Fadler of Hallsville; and a sister, Mary George of Centralia.

He was preceded in death by a brother, George Fadler.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 601 Business Loop 70 W., Parkade Center, Suite 216B, Columbia, Mo., 65203, or to the Cancer Research Center, 3501 Berrywood Drive, Columbia, Mo., 65201.

Mr. Fadler was born Dec. 23, 1942, in Hallsville to the late Stanley Fadler Sr. and Winnie Lee Fillyaw Fadler of Centralia.

He attended Centralia High School and was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Centralia. He worked for a number of years at the A.B. Chance Co. in
Centralia and then for K&K Wood Products. For the past two years, he was custodian at the Centralia High School. Known for his woodwork, Mr. Fadler specialized in jewelry boxes.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by a son, Troy David Fadler of Centralia; a daughter, Cherri Meador of Centralia; a brother, Stanley Fadler Jr. of Hallsville; and a sister Mary Frances George of Centralia.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Tom Fadler.
