Fadler, Ettar E. (nee ???)
Services for Mrs. Ettar E. Fadler will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2004 in Hixson Brothers Chapel, Marksville, with the Rev. David Trimbur officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Mausoleum, Effie, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Marksville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004 and from 8 a.m. until service time on Friday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Fadler, age 85, of Marksville, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004 in her residence.
She was a native of Missouri, a resident of Marksville, a member of Richey Baptist Church, a homemaker, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid horsewoman and very active outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Fadler; and a son, Michael Fadler.
Survivors include her son, Danny Fadler of Marksville; daughters, Cathy Hodnett of New Orleans and Judy Fisher of Tideon, Mo.; one sister, Ruby Venable of Kennett, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
