Fadler, Leonard Lee

Leonard Lee Fadler, 89, passed away November 3, 2006 in Shelbyville, Ky.

He was born October 23, 1917 in Carthage, Mo.

Leonard, an Air Force lieutenant and veteran of WWII, was a pilot and flight instructor and later retired from Leggett & Platt, Inc. in July 1983. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Gray Fadler; two daughters, Pam Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla., and Barbara Allan of Shelbyville, Ky; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Clyde Fadler of Independence, Mo. and George Fadler of Haverford, Pa.; and a sister, Margaret Grogan of Houston, Texas.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. at Faskin Cemetary in Carthage, MO. Joe Bright and Dwight Samuels of Sunset Chruch of Christ, Springfield, MO, will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Fair Haven Childrens Home, 3132 N. Fair Haven Loop, Strafford, Mo.

There will be an open visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage.
