Fadler, Marvin

Marvin Fadler, 87, of Pine Bluff, Ark., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Saturday, May 13, 2006, at his residence.

Born May 16, 1918, in Fredricktown, Mo., son of the late Clarence and Mae Mungle Fadler, he was a farmer and truck driver. He attended the Sunnyvale General Baptist Church in Malden. On Sept. 17, 1938, in Kennett, he married Lucille Ham, who survives.

Survivors also include four daughters, Marvena Osborn, of Pine Bluff, Karen Urick and husband, Paul, of Warwick, R.I., Janice Dickerson and husband, Patrick, of Lyon, Miss., and Brenda Lindley and husband, Gene, of Decatur, Ala.; one son, Gerald Fadler and wife, Janice, of Bernie, Mo.; two sisters, Lovella Shelby and Virginia Lee Tippen, both of Salem, Mo.; two brothers, Delman Fadler, of Fredricktown, Mo., and Delbert Fadler, of Crystal City, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Paul Winston Fadler and one brother, Melvin Fadler. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, May 16, at the Landess Funeral Home chapel in Malden. Burial was in the Rosewood First Addition Cemetery at Malden.
