Farrar, Paul Dennis
Paul Dennis Farrar, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 23, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 20, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, to Percy William and Bertha C. Schonhoff Farrar.
Paul lived in Cape Girardeau all his life. He was a graduate of St. Mary's School. He was involved in farming and dairy work all his life, was a delivery man with Farrar Farms, and worked at Drury Southwest 10 years. He was a member of St. Mary Cathedral and Parents Without Partners many years.
Survivors include a son, William Edward Farrar of St. Charles, Missouri; a brother, Gene (Barb) Farrar of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Gerri Stone and Margie Farrar of Cape Girardeau and Dorothy (Bob) Hulsey of Raytown, Missouri; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Glenn; and an infant brother, Arthur.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Cathedral, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Saint Francis Medical Center or Notre Dame Regional High School.
