Farrow, Hannah Mae (nee McNeely)

Hannah Mae Farrow, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, May 27, 2013, at her home.

She was born April 18, 1933, in Jackson to Guy Lewis and Estle Lura Hawkins McNeely.

Hannah was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She retired as cafeteria manager at Franklin Elementary School. She volunteered to raise funds for missionary trips as well as United Way's Read to Succeed Program.

She is survived by six children, Alan D. Farrow of Cape Girardeau, Victor K. Farrow of Egypt Mills, Jane Thomas and Judy Ford of Oriole, Michael B. Farrow of Egypt Mills and Angela Runnels of Oriole; a brother, Lewis G. McNeely of Jackson; four sisters, Carrie A. Darter and Juanita Schwab of Cape Girardeau, Marie Bollinger of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Fern Tripp of High Ridge, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Farrow; an infant son; and six brothers, George W., Lloyd D., Lester G., Ray L., Dean and Russell McNeely.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to time of service Friday at First Church of the Nazarene.

A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Jason Hill officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
