Favier, Anna Lillian (nee Layton)

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Anna Lillian Favier, 80, of Perryville died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born Oct. 5, 1931, in St. Mary, Mo., daughter of Henry and Ethel Tucker Layton. She and Clark F. Favier were married Feb. 6, 1948. He preceded her in death April 8, 1979.

Mrs. Favier was a seamstress at International Shoe Co. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy (Darrin) Otte and Donna (Ed) Wood of Perryville; a brother, Joseph Layton of Perryville; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Billy F. and Terry L. Favier; two sisters, Shirley Ann and Mary Leola Layton; two brothers, Clyde and Charles Layton.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mount Hope Cemetery, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating.

Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
