Favier, Glen J.

A funeral will be held Friday, September 10, 1999 for 85-year-old Glen J. Favier of Perryville who died Wednesday, September 8th at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 12th, 1914 in Silver Lake, the son of Albert and Edith (Schilling) Favier who both preceded in death.

He married Rita E. Bach on June 1st, 1940. She survives in Perryville.

Two sons also survive him: Joe and his wife, Darlene, Favier and Jerry and wife, Elaine, Favier, both of Perryville.

Four daughters survive: Shirley, Mrs. Edgar, Blechle of Old Appleton; Rita, Mrs. Edgar, Rubel of Perryville; Jane, Mrs. Bob, Wright of New Orleans, Louisiana and Glenda, Mrs. Bill, O'Farrell of Doe Run.

One sister survives: Ida Mae Broker of Perryville.

18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild also survive him.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, four sisters, an infant grandson, a great-grandson and a granddaughter in law.

He was a road and bridge construction worker and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Catholic wake will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral for 85-year-old Glen J. Favier of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
