Favier, James E.

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- James E. Favier, 68, of Perryville died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at St. Louis University Medical Center.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to time of service Sunday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.

A funeral will be held Sunday, March 6, 2011 for 68-year-old James E. Favier of Perryville who died March 3, 2011 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born December 2, 1924 in Perryville, son of the Orval J. and Ruby V. (Smith) Favier who both preceded him in death.

He married Doris M. Mueller July 25, 1964. She survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by a daughter: Jamie Favier of St. Louis; two sisters: Betty Hunt of Benton, and Judith (George) Hopfer of Perryville; two brothers: Robert (Joan) Favier of St. Louis and Stephen "Puggy" (Mary) Favier of Perryville.

He was also preceded in death by a sister: Susan Hoff.

He was a retired truck driver.

He was a member of Cape Cowboy Church.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 68-year-old James E. Favier of Perryville will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Jim Matthews will officiate.
