PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wilda E. Favier, 86, of Perryville died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Perryville is in charge of the arrangements.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2011 for 86-year-old Wilda E. Favier of Perryville, who died December 11, 2011 at St Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 12, 1925, in Perryville, daughter of the Fred W. and Edna (Klobe) Boxdorfer who both preceded her in death.

She married Ralph B. Favier on November 29, 1941. He preceded her in death on September 26, 1979.

She is survived by two daughters: Joyce (Bob) Eggemeyer of Murphysboro Illinois and Jean (James) Robison of Sparta Illinois; one son: Gary (Nancee) Favier of Perryville; one adopted daughter: Emily Favier of Perryville; one granddaughter: Stacey Roman of Farmington; two sisters: Hallie Pourney and Margie Hudson, both of Perryville; one brother: Roy Lee Boxdorfer of Arnold; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son: Tim Favier; a daughter: Tina Favier and two brothers: Floyd and Robert Boxdorfer.

She had been a seamstress at Ollie Moore's Dress Factory.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Perryville and a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 4282.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
