Fellows, Louis Henry

Funeral services were held Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson for Louis H. Fellows, 70 year old retired miller and farmer, who died Monday in a hospital in Cape Girardeau, following a lengthy illness. Burial was in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.

Mr. Fellows was born February 17, 1888 at Lixville, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Fellows. On December 26, 1907, he was married to Miss Ida Bollinger, who survives.

Mr. Fellows was a member of the Methodist Church at Millersville. In 1925, Mr. Fellows moved to Millersville and purchased the mill, which he operated until 1936. He then continued to farm until ill health caused his retirement several years ago.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Fellows is survived by a son, Edgar of Millersville; four daughters, Mrs. Francis Oster of Perryville, Mrs. Manford Schwab of Jackson, Mrs. Leslie Hartle of Sedgewickville and Mrs. C. J. Proffer of Millersville; two brothers, Ernest and Thomas of Sedgewickville; a sister, Mrs. Floyd Fenwick of Perryville; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
