Feltz, E. V. "Shorty"
SERENO, Mo. -- E.V. "Shorty" Feltz, 86, of Sereno died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at Perry County Nursing Home.
He was born Feb. 3, 1916, at Lithium, Mo., son of Harrison and Mary A. Vessels Feltz. He married Mildred Hagan.
Feltz was a retried watchman at Bilt Best.
He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, a past member of the American Legion Booster Club Post 133 and Elks Lodge 2701 in Perryville.
Survivors include his wife of Perryville, Mo.; a daughter, Margie Herron of Florissant, Mo.; three sisters, Dollie Welker and Delores Dunker of Perryville, Bernadine Hagan of St. Louis; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 9:20 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A Catholic wake will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Victory Church, with the Rev. Francis Agnew officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
