Feverston, Byron O.

Byron O. Feverston, 79, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born July 5, 1922, at Cape Girardeau, son of Charles E. and Mary George Feverston. He and Virginia Craft were married June 5, 1942, at Cape Girardeau. She survives.

He was a member of VFW Post 3838, Eagles No. 3775 and American Legion Post 158.

Other survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Denney of Scott City, Mo., Sondra F. Wieland of Columbia, S.C., and Rebecca McClard of Jackson, Mo.; four sisters, Mae Seabaugh and Virginia Robinette, both of Cape Girardeau, Georgia Lewis of Florida and Mary Jo Shelton of Jackson; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Chapel.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Wesley Wright officiating. VFW Post 3838 will perform graveside rites. Burial will be at Cape Girardeau County Memorial Park Cemetery.
