Finger, Walter Raymond
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Walter R. Finger, 79, of Perryville died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at his daughter's home in Perryville.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Milton Ryan CM and the Rev. Walter Reisinger CM officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Walter R. Finger, 79, of Perryville died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 at his daughter’s residence in Perryville.
He was born April 9, 1934 in Seventy-Six, the son of the late Theodore and Ester (Meyer) Finger. He and Jeanette (Hennemann) Finger were married on May 25, 1957. She survives in Perryville.
Family members include one son, Terry L. Finger, deceased and daughter-in-law, Kim Finger; one daughter, Diane (Dale) Grogg, all of Perryville; two brothers, Wayne (Joan) Finger of Springfield; Bob Finger and special friend, Ruth Ann of California; four grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Buchheit, Justin Grogg, Gregory Finger and Valerie Finger, all of Perryville; and one great-grandson, Lucas Buchheit.
Walter was a backhoe operator for Frey Plumbing and a self-employed farmer of agriculture and livestock. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, National Guard and enjoyed farming and antique tractors.
Memorials are preferred for St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 13 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held at the church on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Milton Ryan C.M. and Rev. Walter Reisinger C.M. concelebrating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
