Foley, Oscar Leon

Oscar Leon Foley, 68, of Columbia died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Christian Chapel Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Gary Denbow officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Nilson Funeral Home.

Mr. Foley was born March 19, 1931, in Boone County to Oscar and Aleta Anderton Foley. He married Norma Lee Patton on April 10, 1954, in Columbia, and she survives.

He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corp during the Korean War. He was a member of Christian Chapel Assembly of God Church. He was a cabinetmaker and owned and operated Foley Custom Cabinets until his retirement in 1995.

Survivors also include two sons, Timothy Foley and Theodore Foley, both of Columbia; three brothers, Harold Foley, William Foley and James Foley, all of Columbia; a sister, Anita Adams of San Bernardino, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Terri Brelsford Missionary to India, in care of Christian Chapel Assembly of God Church, 3300 S. Providence Road, Columbia, Mo., 65203.
