Fornkahl, Gertrude R. (nee Hecht)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Gertrude R. Fornkahl, 92, of Perryville died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at Perry Oaks Manor. She was born March 27, 1911, to the late Gottliff and Lydia Jacob Hecht. She married Henry C. Fornkahl June 28, 1936. He preceded her in death May 18, 2000.
Survivors include one son, Gerald Fornkahl of St. Charles, Mo.; one daughter, Gerlene Webb of Fenton, Mo.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and five sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, and 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Saturday, at Young and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating.
