Fornkohl, Regina (nee Huey)

Mrs. Regina Fornkohl, 56 years old, wife of Wm. Fornkohl, died of paralysis at 2:45 a.m. today at the family home, five miles north of Cape Girardeau.  She had been ill but a few hours, succumbing after a stroke of paralysis suffered late Friday afternoon.

The body was removed to the Brinkopf-Howell Funeral Home, where it will remain until 1:15 o'clock Monday afternoon, when funeral services will be held there and at 2 o'clock at the Hanover Lutheran Church.  Rev. Wm. Wittrock, pastor of the church, will conduct the services and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Fornkohl was born Jan. 23, 1877, in the northern part of Cape Girardeau County and lived in the county all of her life.  She was a life long member of the Hanover Church and was also a member of the Ladie's Aid Society of the church.  Before her marriage Mrs. Fornkohl was Miss Regina Huey.

Besides her husband Mrs. Fornkohl is survived by four children, Mrs. Martin Heise, Cape Girardeau; Miss Dahlia Fornkohl, Clem and Harlen Fornkohl, all at home.  Two surviving sisters are Mrs. Wm. Heise, Cape Girardeau, and Mrs. Ernest Heise, of the Hanover Community.
