French, Alice Faye (nee Johnson)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Alice Faye French, 75, of Perryville died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at her home.
She was born July 8, 1938, in Jefferson City, Mo., daughter of Mabel Herron Johnson. She and Harold J. French were married July 7, 1956. He preceded her in death Sept. 24, 2002.
Alice was a sales associate at Wal-Mart. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheila (Rick) Downs of Sadieville, Ky., and Donna (Jim) Brown of Perryville; a sister, Rita (Dan) Anderson of Arnold, Mo.; three grandchildren, Angela Hodges, Heather Hauke and Michael "Junior" Brown; and four great-grandchildren, Paula, Hannah, Wyatt and Gavin.
She is preceded in death by her husband, mother and a daughter, Patty French.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish wake is at 7 p.m. today.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
