ST. MARY, Mo. -- Robert L. French, 74, of St. Mary died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Jan. 20, 1931, at Perryville, Mo., son of William and Rose Tucker French. A funeral will be held Wednesday, February 9th, 2005 for 74-year-old Robert L. French of St. Mary who died Saturday, February 5th at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born January 20th, 1931 in Perryville, the son of William E. French and Rose M. Tucker French who both preceded him in death.
Survivors include: four daughters and one son in law, Diane and Allen Lane of Cape Girardeau and Jean French, Janelle French and Katherine French, all of Perryville; two sons, Danny French and Jim French, both of Perryville; a sister, Zita Gibbar of Perryville; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Three brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death.
He had worked for Empire Gas Company and had served in the National Guard.
He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Country Music Association in St. Mary.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 8th and 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 9th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 74-year-old Robert L. French of St. Mary will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 9th at the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. William Thess will officiate.
Burial will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
