Gibbar, Faye Francis (nee Hagan)

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Faye F. Gibbar, 76, of Perryville died Friday, April 16, 2010, at her home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. John Chamness officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Faye F. Gibbar of Perryville, MO died April 16, 2010 at her residence. She was 76.

She was born in Perry County, MO on March 26, 1934 daughter of the late Bernard and Emma Boxdorfer Hagan. She was married on August 22, 1952 to James Gibbar Jr. who survives in Perryville, MO.

Other survivors include five daughters, Sherry (Tony) Roberts of Apple Valley, MN, Tina (Danny) Clements of Cape Girardeau, Connie (Ronnie) Hotop and Donna (Brad) Zoellner all of Perryville, Diane (Jeff) Philliber of Grayson, GA; a sister, Stella Layton of Michigan; a brother Bernard "Red" Hagan of Monroe, MI and eleven granchildren, Sarah Roberts, Suzanne Roberts, Matt Clements, Jon Clements, Kyle Blandford, Chad Hotop, Katie Hotop, Ethan Zoellner, Tyson Zoellner, Ryan Philliber and Josh Philliber.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Helen and Hazel Hagan and one brother LeRoy Hagan.

Mrs. Gibbar was a homemaker and Co-Owner of Gibbar Wall Systems. She was a member of First Assembly of God, Prayer Warriors and Teen Challenge.

Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, April 18th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and on Monday, April 19th from 8:00 to 9:30 am. She will then be taken to First Assembly of God for service at 10:00 am with Rev. John Chamness officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
