Gibbar, Robert W.
A funeral will be held Thursday, February 18th, 2010 for 63-year-old Robert W. Gibbar of Perryville who died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Perryville November 20, 1946 son of the Hubert and Marie (Schnurbusch) Gibbar who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Tami (Perry Berkbigler) Gibbar of Perryville and Amy (Keith Akers) Gibbar of Bonne Terre; two sisters: Doris (Jim) Seabaugh of Biehle and Glenda (Jerry) Beckerman of Bridgeton; four grandchildren: Ashley, David, Aubrie, and Esme; and two great grandsons: Tyler and Trent.
He was a paint inspector at TG Missouri, member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, an army veteran of Vietnam, member of V.F.W. Post 4282, AmVets Post 94, and American Legion Post 133 all of Perryville and a St. Vincent graduate of the class of 1965.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 18th, 2010 for 63-year-old Robert W. Gibbar of Perryville at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Joe Williams will officiate.
Graveside military honors will be provided by VFW Post 4282.
Memorials are preferred for family use.
