Gisi, Raymond R.
A funeral will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014 for 77-year-old Raymond R. Gisi of Maryland Heights who died April 27, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield.
He was born June 10, 1936 in St. Mary, the son of Raymond E. Gisi and Lucille Mattingly Gisi, who both preceded him in death.
He married Rose Mary Unterreiner. She survives in Maryland Heights.
He is also survived by six children: Debra, Larry, Kathleen, Julie, Timothy, and Rebecca; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother: Glennon Gisi and a sister; Shirley Unterreiner.
He was a material handler for an automotive manufacturer.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29 at Collier’s Funeral Home, 3400 North Linbergh Blvd. in St. Ann.
Visitation will also be held from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, May 1 in the Gathering Space of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 77-year-old Raymond R. Gisi of Maryland Heights will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 1 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan CM will officiate.
Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to American Heart Association 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, Illinois 60674.
The Miller Family Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
