Glenzy, Cheryl Suzanne
CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Cheryl Suzanne Glenzy, 44, of Chaffee passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the family home.
She was born May 15, 1969, in Cape Girardeau to Terry and Pat Dannenmueller Glenzy.
Cheryl was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the St. Ambrose Church choir. She graduated from Parkview State School in Cape in 1990. She attended Columbus Care in Sikeston, Mo., and was an avid Chaffee Red Devil Booster Club member.
She loved pizza, riding Tyson's bus to state track meets, staying in motels and eating at McDonald's.
For everyone who got to share some time with Cheryl, she blessed them with a touch of Heaven.
Survivors include her parents, Pat and Terry; a brother, Craig (Jill) Glenzy of Kelso, Mo.; a sister, Debbie (Dale) Patterson of Chaffee; and three nephews, whom she called her boys, Garrett Patterson and Brent and Ryan Glenzy.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Chaffee High School gym. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, with the Revs. Randy Tochtrop and Patrick I. Nwokoye as co-celebrants.
Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery in Chaffee.
