Goehman, Biddie Rose (nee Hopper)

Biddie Rose Goehman, 77, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Scott City, died Sunday, March 1, 2009, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 23, 1931, daughter of William Benjamin and Bridget Dailey Hopper. She and Milton Lee Goehman were married July 3, 1948, at Scott City.

Rose worked as a sales clerk at Pind's Jewelry in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Sharon Alley of Columbia, Mo., Connie Walker of Chaffee, Mo., Toni (Gary) Senn of Scott City and Yvonne (Bob) Waddington of House Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Alma Crader of Scott City and Willie Janesko of Waterloo, Ill.; four grandsons, James Walker, Stephen Ratliff, Brian and Bronson Senn; three granddaughters, Vanessa Schwartz, Sarah VanNurden and Christiana Cunningham; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and one great-grandson.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Scott City.
