Govreau, William C., Jr.
There will be no visitation or service for 74-year-old William C. Govreau of Ste. Genevieve, who died Monday, January 8th at his residence.
He was born August 21st, 1932 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of William C. Govreau Sr. and W. Pauline (Groves) Govreau, who both preceded him in death.
He married Janet M. Bauman on April 29th, 1957 in Ozora.
He is survived by two daughters: Cynthia Govreau and her husband, Mark, Ludwig, of Cincinnati, Ohio and Penelope A. Govreau and her special friend, Bob DeClue, of Ste. Genevieve; a son: Jeff C. Govreau of Orange City, Florida; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was a member of the Association of Retired Federal Employees, American Legion and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951 to 1954.
Memorials may be made to Michael E. Bauman's scholarship at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.
The Basler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
