Grindstaff, Estella M. (nee Ruessler)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Estella M. Grindstaff, 91, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at Perry Oaks Manor.
Born Nov. 5, 1910, in Bollinger County, she was the daughter of Ferdinand and Anna Belle Barks Ruessler.
Grindstaff was a retired nurse's aide for the American Care Nursing Home.
On Sept. 23, 1928, she married James T. Grindstaff. He died Oct. 26, 1995.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Perryville.
Survivors include a son, James E. Grindstaff of Perryville; two daughters, Anna Kennon of St. Louis and Edna Manner of St. Peters, Mo.; three sisters, Ruby Wilfong of Patton, Mo., Viola Winkler and Edna Ponder, both of Perryville; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call between 4 and 8 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Kelpe officiating. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery at Patton.
