Habeck, Fern Evelyn (nee Beinlien)

PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Fern E. Wucher Habeck, 88, of Perryville died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

Habeck was born July 25, 1919, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of Edgar and Anna Elizabeth Beinlein.

She and Henry Leo Wucher were married Aug. 24, 1940, and she and Dallas Elliot Habeck were married May 5, 1973.

Habeck was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include a son, William Wucher of Perryville; a daughter, Mary Taylor of Perryville; a stepson, Robert Habeck of Old Appleton; a stepdaughter, Jane Lungwitz of Old Appleton; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren.

Preceding her in death are two husbands, her parents, a brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Parish and Daughters of Isabella wake will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, March 12th, 2008 for 88-year-old Fern E. Wucher Habeck of Perryville, who died Saturday, March 8th at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 25th, 1919 in Perry County, the daughter of Edgar J. and Anna Elizabeth (Weith) Beinlein, who both preceded her in death.

She married Henry Leo Wucher on August 24th, 1940. He preceded her in death.

She married Dallas Elliot Habeck on May 5th, 1973. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, William Wucher of Perryville; a daughter and son in law, Mary and William Taylor of Perryville; a stepson, Robert Habeck of Old Appleton; a stepdaughter and her husband, Jane and Eugene Lungwitz of Old Appleton; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

A brother, Howard Beinlein and two sisters, Ruth Abernathy and Alma Vernon, also preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella in Perryville.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11th and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish and Daughters of Isabella wake will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 88-year-old Fern E. Wucher Habeck of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Masses or to the elementary school library fund.
