A funeral will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 for 94-year-old Norma B. Hacker of Longtown who died October 21, 2013 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born June 14, 1919 in Uniontown, the daughter of Oscar and Bertha (Kramer) Oberndorfer.
She married Wesley A. Hacker on August 28, 1939. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1972.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter: Wesley (Betty) Hacker of Albany, Georgia, Kenneth (Karen) Hacker of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Dianne Link of Arlington, Texas, and Gary (Tammy) Hacker of Plano, Texas; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, and two grandsons.
She was a retired nurse assistant at Perry Oaks and a home maker.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 and 6:30-8 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home
A funeral for 94-year-old Norma B. Hacker of Longtown will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville on Thursday. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Longtown.
Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville or Southeast Hospice.
