Hamlin, Euline Phyllis (nee Barber)

Euline Phyllis Hamlin, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 29, 1941, at Brazeau, Mo., daughter of Phillip and Florence Murray Barber. She was married to William F. Hamlin. He preceded her in death in November 1992.

Hamlin worked as a nursing assistant at Perry Oaks Nursing Home in Perryville, Mo. She also was a school-bus driver for Perry County School District No. 32 and worked in the laundry department of Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was Methodist.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Clements of Cape Girardeau and her friend, Gill Welsch of Murray, Ky.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph and Carol Clements and Frank and Kelly Hamlin, all of Perryville; three sisters, Lois Neislein of Largo, Fla., Joann Lane of Brazeau and Sue King of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Benton Barber of Jackson; and four grandchildren, Wade and Bailey Jo Hamlin and Colton and Callie Clements, all of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville,

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Chapel, with the Rev. Tom Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013 for 72-year-old Euline Phyllis Hamlin of Cape Girardeau who died May 4 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born January 29, 1941 in Brazeau, the daughter of Phillip Barber and Florence Murray Barber, who both preceded her in death.

She married William F. Hamlin. He preceded her in death in November 1992.

She is survived by one daughter: Mary Clements of Cape Girardeau and her friend, Gill Welsch of Murray, Kentucky; two sons: Ralph (Carol) Clements of Perryville and Frank (Kelly) Hamlin of Perryville; three sisters: Lois Neislein of Largo, Florida, Joann Lane of Brazeau and Sue King of Cape Girardeau; a brother: Benton Barber of Jackson and four grandchildren: Wade and Bailey Jo Hamlin and Colton and Callie Clements, all of Perryville.

She was of the Methodist faith.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 72-year-old Euline Phyllis Hamlin of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Tom Bridges will officiate. Burial will be in the Cape Memorial Gardens.
