Mr. Hanners was born July 21, 1902 at Hornersville and was a member of the Whitaker Chapel General Baptist Church.

Services will be here at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Landess Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Stevens officiating.  Burial will be in the Piggott, Ark., Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Elbert Hanners of Campbell; a daughter Erma Wermeck, of Dexter; two brothers, John Hanners of Campbell and Luther Hanners of Bangor, Mich.;   three sisters, Mrs. Ellie Moore and Mrs. Mae Shepard, both of Campbell, and Mrs. Opal Southard of Bangor, Mich., and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the chapel.
