Hartle, Ilena C. (nee Seabaugh)
Ilena C. Hartle, 87 of Jackson, MO passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at her daughter’s home.
She was born September 6, 1926, in Daisy, MO, daughter of Ellis and Hannah Barks Seabaugh. She and Jesse “Jay” Hartle were married September 27, 1944. He passed away September 16, 1996.
Ilena worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill and the former International Shoe Factory in Jackson. She was a member of Millersville United Methodist Church.
Loving survivors include; a daughter, Kathy (Dwight) Mock of Marble Hill, MO; a sister, Verla (Howard) LaChance of Warsaw, MO; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cletus Seabaugh, two sisters, Trula Mayfield and an infant sister.
Friends may call Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 10:00 AM until service time at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be Saturday, at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Millersville U.M.C.
