Henry, May B. (nee Bollinger)

SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- May B. Henry, 95, formerly of Sedgewickville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002, at Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Ind.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, Mo., from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sedgewickville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jimmie Corbin and the Rev. James N. Brice Jr. will officiate. Interment will be in Sedgewickville Cemetery.

Mrs. Henry was born March 19, 1906, at Sedgewickville, daughter of Henry and Jane Statler Bollinger. She and Louis Henry were married in 1924. He passed away in 1974.

Loving survivors include a son, Gerald Henry of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Sylvia (Tom) Crites of Bloomington; nine grandchildren, including Hal Crites of Swansboro, N.C., Louis Crites of Jackson, Tim Crites of Bonne Terre, Mo., Connie Ferguson of Bloomington; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The Henrys were livestock farmers many years in the Sedgewickville community. Mrs. Henry was a longtime member of Sedgewickville United Methodist Church. In 1974, after Mr. Henry's death, she moved to Jackson where she was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and Senior Citizens Center Group. In 1998 she moved to the Red Bud Hills Retirement Center in Bloomington to be near her daughter.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Sedgewickville United Methodist Church or Sedgewickville Cemetery.
