Hilbert L. "Bert" Heuer, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at his home. He was born Aug. 25, 1912, in Cape Girardeau, son of Benjamin and Sophie Rau Heuer. He and Ruth Kelpe were married Sept. 22, 1946, in Cape Girardeau. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum...
