Hill, John Daniel "J.D."
John Daniel ”J.D.” Hill, 37 of Jackson, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 in Portland, Oregan.
He was born December 12, 1975, in Cape Girardeau, son of Dwayne Alan Hill, Sr. and Ruth Ann Niswonger Hill Weibley.
J.D. graduated from Shawnee High School in Grand Tower, Illinois in 1993 and served in the U.S. Military. He worked for a commercial contractor as a lineman, journeyman, and electrician in Southern Illinois for several years. He received an LPN license in 2004. J.D. loved his dogs, “his babies”, Rye and Tessa.
Loving survivors include his mother, Ruth Weibley of Jackson; his father, Dwayne Hill, Sr. of Cape Girardeau; three half brothers, Aaron, Austin, and Anthony Hill of Ashland, VA; step sister, Tiffany Sander of Scopus, MO; step-brother, Don Armstrong of Rockford, IL; girlfriend, Candace Shelby of Jackson; and nephew and niece, Dylan and Korbyn Hill of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dwayne Hill, Jr., step-father, Luther “Grizzly” Weibley, Jr., maternal grandparents, Joe and Daisy Niswonger, and paternal grandparents, Murle and Pearl Hill.
Friends may call Friday, September 20, 2013 from 4-8 PM at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
A graveside service will be Saturday, September 21, 2013, at 10:30 AM, at Niswonger Cemetery near Millersville, with Wayne Moore officiating.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the family c/o McCombs Funeral Home.
