Hitt, Euell Dennis
Euell Dennis Hitt, 84, of Poplarville, Miss., died Tuesday, June 23, 2009.
He was born March 14, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, son of Claude Emory and Julia Addline Crawford Hitt.
Survivors include a son, Michael Dean Hitt, and wife Pat of Thibodaux, La.; two daughters, Sharon Jean Hitt of Houma, La., Margo Sweet and husband Josh of Poplarville; a sister, Rita Kidd and husband James of Gordonville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and former wife, Imogene B. Hitt of Houma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a wife, Mae Rita Hitt; a brother, Donald L. Hitt; and a sister, Mary Jane Riegle.
The service was June 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Poplarville.
White Funeral Home in Poplarville was in charge of arrangements.
