PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- LaWana M. Hoeh, 88, of Perryville died Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Independence Care Center in Perryville. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 tonight, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday...

A funeral will be held Friday, June 19th, 2009 for 88-year-old LaWana M. Hoeh of Perryville, who died June 16th, at Independence Care Center, Perryville.

She was born October 4, 1920 in St. Louis, the daughter of Elbert J. Fenwick and Mary Elberta O’ Mara Fenwick Hoffman who both preceded her in death.

She married Leo "Dutch" Hoeh on Oct. 3, 1942 in St. Louis. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons: Leo J. Hoeh Jr. of Riverdale, Georgia and Thomas L. Hoeh of Perryville; three daughters: Jill A. Hoehn-Perryville, Joy A. Fairchild of Columbia and Jan L. Hoeh-Smith of Perryville; a brother: Leroy Fenwick of Perryville; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her step father, Andrew Peter Hoffman and a brother, Joseph Fenwick.

She was a homemaker, a lifetime member of American Legion Auxiliary and also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Apple Creek.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 18th and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, June 19th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish Wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.

A funeral for 88-year-old LaWana M. Hoeh of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 19th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. The Rev. Rickey Valleroy will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Uniontown.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
