UNIONTOWN, Mo. -- Leo J. "Dutch" Hoeh Sr., 86, of Uniontown died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 8, 1916, at Uniontown, son of Joseph W. and Pauline A. Pfisterer Hoeh. He and LaWana M. Fenwick were married Oct. 3, 1942, in St. Louis...

Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 8, 2003 for 86-year-old Leo J. "Dutch" Hoeh, Sr of Uniontown who died Thursday, June 5 at Missouri Veteran’s home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on July 8, 1916 in Uniontown, the son of the late Joseph w. and Pauline A. Pfisterer Hoeh.

He was married to LaWana M. Fenwick on Oct. 3, 1942. She survives in Uniontown.

Two sons and three daughters survive, Leo J. Hoeh, Jr. of Riverdale; Thomas L. Hoeh of Perryville; Jill a. Hoehne of Uniontown; Joy a. Fairchild of Columbia; and Jan L. Hoeh-smith of Uniontown.

Two sisters and one sister-in-law survive, Alma Collins of St. Louis; Thekla Mild of Kirkwood; and Alpha Hoeh of Cape Girardeau.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Rudy and Herbert Hoeh, and one sister, Ellen.

Mr. Hoeh was a farmer. He was a World War II veteran, and a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the American Legion and V.F.W.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 7 from 4:0-8:00 p.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Visitation also on Sunday from 6:30-11:00 a.m.

Funeral service for Leo J. "Dutch" Hoeh, Sr. will be Sunday, June 8 at 1:00 p.m.at Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown. Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Grace Lutheran Church.
