PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ralph E. Hoehn, 94, of Perryville died Friday, May 14, 2010, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 a.m. to service time Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. A VFW wake will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Military rites will be provided by American Legion Post 133 and Delta Team.

Ralph E. Hoehn of Perryville, MO died May 14, 2010 at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville, MO. He was 94.

He was born in Perry County, MO on October 8, 1915 son of the late Arthur and Dora (Boxdorfer) Hoehn. He and Mary E. Moran were married on January 27, 1940 She survives in Perryville, MO.

Other survivors include two daughters, Dorothy J. Hagan of Godfrey, IL, Sandra Kurtzeborn of Florissant , MO; four grandchildren, Robin & Ricky Hamlin, Kyle and Ryan Kurtzeborn and five great-grandchildren, Conar Smith, Alicia and Rick Hamlin, Jackson and Reagan Kurtzeborn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Iva, one brother Floyd and one grandson Wendell Hamlin.

Mr. Hoehn had worked for General Motors. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 133, VFW Post 4282 and an Army Veteran of WW II.

Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville on Sunday, May 16th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with VFW Wake at 6:30 pm., and on Monday, May 17th from 6:30 am until time of service at 1:00 pm with Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery with Military Burial Rites provided by American Legion Post 133 and Delta Team.

Memorials are preferred to Charity of Choice.
