Hoffman, Loretta A. (nee Buerck)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Loretta A. Hoffman, 80, of Perryville died Monday, July 12, 2004, at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 26, 1923, at Belgique, Mo., daughter of Oscar and Gertrude Hogard Buerck. She and Thomas E. Hoffman were married Aug. 31, 1946, at Belgique. He died Jan. 13, 2000.
Hoffman was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Hoffman of Cape Girardeau, Kevin Hoffman of St. Louis; a daughter, Donna Fischer of St. Peters, Mo.; three brothers, Marion Buerck of Perryville, Earl Buerck of Cape Girardeau, Leon Buerck of Ohio; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m. today.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
