Hopfer, Wilma Anna (nee Grossheider)
A funeral will be held Friday, August 13, 2010 for 92-year-old Wilma Anna Hopfer of Perryville who died August 6, 2010 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born December 14, 1917 in Friedheim, the daughter of the William and Clara (Zoellner) Grossheider who both preceded her in death.
She married Wilbert "Deacon" Hopfer on August 21, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 30, 1997.
She is survived by a brother: Wilbert Grossheider of Perryville and a special friend, Rose Jackson of Cape Girardeau.
She was also preceded in death by two sons: Roger and Larry Hopfer; and two sisters: Delma Frentzel and Norma Clements.
She was a home maker.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Friday, August 13th at the Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown.
A funeral for 92-year-old Wilma Anna Hopfer of Perryville will be held at noon Friday, August 13 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or Lutheran Hour.
