Hopkins, Ilinda Maude (nee Bollinger)

Ilinda Maude Hopkins, 77, of Millersville was called home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 29, 2012, at Monticello House in Jackson.

She was born Aug. 10, 1934, in Daisy, daughter of Omer and Dessie Statler Bollinger. She and Chester Lynn Hopkins were married April 20, 1955. He passed away Sept. 20, 2000.

Ilinda was a life member of Millersville United Methodist Church. She owned and operated Bollinger Feed and Supply in Millersville since 1955. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and driving the delivery truck for the store, but her greatest passion was her family.

Loving survivors include two daughters, Vicki Sue (Rodger) Amelunke of Jackson, Rhonda Lee Nall of Millersville; three granddaughters, Robyn Nall, Melinda and Lyndsey Sorbello; two great-grandchildren, Madison Sorbello and Seth Sievers.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Lewis and Ina Lee Snyder, and a son-in-law, Micheal S. Nall.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Craig Petzoldt officiating. Interment will be in Cook Cemetery near Scopus, Mo.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Millersville United Methodist Church, Southeast Hospice or Cook Cemetery Fund.
