A funeral will be held Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 for 16-year-old Chad Hotop of Perryville, who died Thursday, February 24th, 2011 in Perryville.
He was born November 3rd, 1994 in Perryville, the son of Ronald and Connie (Gibbar) Hotop.
He is survived by grandparents Ruben Hotop of Silver Lake, Mary Ann Hotop Winterberg of Perryville, and James Gibbar of Perryville; a sister, Katie Hotop of Perryville; a half brother; Kyle (Tiffany) Blandford of De Soto; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother; Faye Gibbar and Uncle Rueben Hotop, Jr., and one cousin.
He was a student at Perryville High School, a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek, and of the FFA.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Monday, February 28th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A Catholic Wake will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation continues Tuesday, March 1st from 6:30-9 a.m. Rosary recital at 8:10.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday at 10:00 am with Rev. Tony Dattilo officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to FFA.
