Hotop, Cletus A.
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Cletus A. Hotop, 82, of Perryville died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Perry Oaks Manor.
He was born Feb. 13, 1920, at McBride, Mo., son of Anton "Tony" and Louise Pingel Hotop. He and Rosalee Blanc were married June 30, 1945.
Hotop was superintendent at Tower Rock. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Ministry of Praise, American Legion Post 133 Booster, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 513, and 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Danny Hotop of Perryville; four daughters, Bonnie King of Clever, Mo., Janice Wiedman of St. Louis, Lori Voss of Cape Girardeau, Phyllis Esserine of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters, Leola Perry of Texas, Irma Parker of Arizona; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, four brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home today from 6:30 a.m. to 1:40 p.m.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
